Rates quoted on our sites are inclusive of all taxes and service charges and there are no additional booking fees. These special low rates are only available when you reserve your booking in advance via the Internet. Rate Changes All prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing. Such fares, prices, international rates of exchange, government taxes and any other factors outside our control are subject to change, which in turn may affect room rates quoted. Regardless of a deposit or full payment having been made, any increase in the rates must also be paid by the customer. If such increase is unacceptable, the customer retains the right to cancel his/her booking. However, attention is drawn to the possibility that some cancellation charges may be imposed covering VR cancellation cost. Reservations
This Web site is provided solely to assist customers in determining the availability of travel-related goods and services and to make legitimate reservations or otherwise transact business with suppliers, and for no other purposes. You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this Web site in accordance with all terms and conditions herein. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this Web site (as well as for use of your account by others, including, without limitation, minors living with you). You agree to supervise all usage of this Web site by minors under your name or account. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household in using this Web site is true and accurate. Without limitation, any speculative, false, or fraudulent reservation or any reservation in anticipation of demand is prohibited. You agree that the travel services reservations facilities of this Web site shall be used only to make legitimate reservations or purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act. You understand that overuse or abuse of the travel services reservation facilities of this Web site may result in you being denied access to such facilities. VR through its website Hello-phuket-hotels.com sells hotel accommodation from an inventory supplied by each hotel, and does not over-sell that inventory. VR does not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the hotel over-selling the hotel’s own room inventory. Once the booking is confirmed by the hotel, your credit card will be charged. Reservations are confirmed by our system once guaranteed by your payment. You will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a voucher that is valid for your room and any other services detailed in the offer conditions. At the time of booking you MUST ensure that the email address given is correct and reachable. If you do not receive any email from our system within 24 hours, you are required to notify us immediately. It is your responsibility to verify that all reservation details are complete and correct. VR shall not be responsible for any loss or delay (direct, indirect or consequential) or third party claims (including any cancellation fees) caused by any incorrect or incomplete details in your reservation request. Making payment through our online payment gateway OR leaving your credit card information on the server shall be regarded as your firm confirmation of arrival. Should you fail to fulfill your booking, for all circumstances, the cancellation and no-show policy will be applied. Hotel room availability has been given to us in good faith. In the event that the hotel or services are not available, VR shall endeavor to remedy the case by offering alternative services. However, VR shall not be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly, indirectly or as a consequence of such issue. Check In/Out Time Unless specified otherwise, the check in time is twelve noon (12:00 PM) and the check out time is twelve noon (12:00 PM) Suitability of Product We do not represent that any travel product or service set out on our web site is suitable for you. You release VR from any claims in relation to the travel products and services described on the web site, including claims that the products or services are not suitable. Illustrations
Photographs and illustrations and other promotional material are for promotion purposes only. They do not represent any benefit that will be included in any arrangements made by you. Privacy
You have read our Privacy Policy and agree that the terms of such policy are reasonable. You consent to the use of your personal information by our site and/or its third party providers and distributors in accordance with the terms of and for the purposes set forth in the VR Privacy Policy. Payment
You will require a valid credit card to pay for your reservation. The cardholder must be one of the guests checking-in or must sign our card authorization form and fax this to us within 24 hours. A minimum equal to 10% of the total value or 200 Thai Baht per night (if the nightly room rate is under 1000 Thai Baht) or 250 Thai Baht per night (if the nightly room rate is under 2500 Thai Baht) will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. In addition to the minimum reservation amount required above, an additional deposit may be required by the hotel to be charged to your credit card. This additional deposit may vary depending on, but not limited to, the hotel and the time of the year. The hotel deposit policy will be clearly outlined prior to finalizing your booking. The charge will appear on your card statement as a charge by Hello-Phuket-Hotels.com. in Euros or in your local credit card currency converted from Euros by your bank, at their conversion rate applicable on that day. When you check-out of the hotel, upon presentation of your confirmation email, the hotel will deduct your deposit in Thai Baht from your final bill. Even though this deposit was originally charged in euros, it will be deducted at the hotel in Thai Baht, at the exchange rate used at the time of making the reservation. You acknowledge and accept that VR and its affiliates shall not be liable for, or responsible for any foreign exchange rate risk (exchange rate movements and rate fluctuations) in any currency conversion during this transaction. Amendments
Any changes to your reservation, whether extending your stay, early check out, delayed arrival or cancellation in full or in part, must be made through our office and NOT through the hotel reservations office. The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking All amendment requests for extension nights or additional rooms are subject to room availability. All amendments will incur a fee of 10 Euros. If the amendment results in a refund of payment (reduction of stay, number of rooms, or number of people booked), a handling fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 10% of the total value or 4 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 1000 Thai Baht) or 5 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 2500 Thai Baht). Shortening of Stay The shortening of stay including, but not limited to, early check-outs, reduction of number of rooms or people are considered as partial cancellation which is subject to our cancellation policy as detailed below. Cancellations
All cancellations are subject to a handling fee equivalent to 10% of the total value or 4 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 1000 Thai Baht) or 5 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 2500 Thai Baht). In addition to the handling fee above, all cancellations will be subject to the specific hotel’s cancellation policy. In general, the later you cancel your booking, the higher the hotel penalty will be. Failure to notify a cancellation or a cancellation made on the day of arrival will be considered a No Show and may be subject to specific hotel penalties. The hotel cancellation policy will be clearly outlined prior to finalizing your booking as well as in your booking confirmation email. Cancellations must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you originally used to make your booking. Your cancellation is acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a cancellation confirmation from us. Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of delivery. Please note that refunds, if any, will be made in the form of a credit entry to your card account, and is subject to bank handling charge as detailed above. In the periods of high occupancy like, but not limited to, Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, Easter and Songkran Festival, the hotel may impose stricter policies and longer cancellation deadlines. No Show If no cancellation has been received and you fail to show up at the hotel, or if a cancellation is made on the day of arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the booking value. Refunds
All refunds are subject to bank handling charges of 10% of the total value or 4 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 1000 Thai Baht) or 5 euros per night (if the nightly room rate is under 2500 Thai Baht). Refunds will be made in the form of a credit entry to your card account only. Claims involving refunds require supporting evidence of cancellation and you are required to inform VR in writing within 15 days after your check-out date. The refund amount will be made in Euros, equivalent to the amount which shall be confirmed to you before the cancellation transaction is processed. You acknowledge and accept that VR and its affiliates shall not be liable for, or responsible for any foreign exchange rate risk (exchange rate movements and rate fluctuations) in converting the refund amount to your local currency. All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner. The refund process is dependent on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 10 - 45 working days for the proceeds to arrive in your account. Responsibility of VR VR and its third party websites act only as agent for the person or companies providing accommodation, transport or other services, hereinafter called 'Service Providers' and VR issues all coupons, vouchers, tickets or other documents on the Service Providers' terms and conditions. You acknowledge that neither VR, nor its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider or by "force majeure" or other events beyond VR's control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents to or failure of machinery, equipment, vehicles or industrial disputes. VR shall not be liable for, or responsible to, any customer in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided by any Service Provider nor be liable or responsible for any disappointment, distress, lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever. VR will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven justified complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities, accommodation or services provided. In the event of such a complaint the customer is requested to immediately contact VR or the Service Provider, hotel etc., for remedial action to resolve any problem or irregularity at that time. Only if such a complaint has been lodged will the VR consider to fully investigate and act on any complaint. Indemnification You agree to defend and indemnify VR, its affiliates, and/or their respective suppliers and any of their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by
(i) you or on your behalf in excess of the liability described above; or
(ii) by third parties as a result of
(a) your breach of these Web Site Terms, Conditions and Notices or the documents referenced herein;
(b) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or
(c) your use of this Web site. Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that all clients take out travel comprehensive insurance when making a booking. We recommend that insurance covers loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, and additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable risk. Currency Converter Currency rates are based on various publicly available sources and should be used as guidelines only. Rates are not verified as accurate, and actual rates may vary. Currency quotes are not updated every day. Check the date on the Currency Converter for the day that currency was last updated. The information supplied by this application is believed to be accurate, but VR, its affiliates, and/or their suppliers do not warrant or guarantee such accuracy. When using this information for any financial purpose, VR advises the customer to consult a qualified professional to verify the accuracy of the currency rates. VR, its affiliates, and/or their suppliers do not authorize the use of this information for any purpose other than personal use and prohibit to the maximum extent allowable the resale, redistribution, and use of this information for commercial purposes. VR as agents for the hotel, wholesale companies and other suppliers reserve the right to levy a whole period or pro rated room charge for cancellations and no show, where the hotel has stipulated this under their own cancellation and no show policy. Entire Agreement This agreement (and any other terms and conditions referenced herein) constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and VR with respect to this Web site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between the customer and Expedia, Inc. with respect to this Web site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. |
